Purpose Mission Tours is an eco-tourism travel agency specializing in all-inclusive group tours. Our interactive, in-depth tours strike the perfect balance between supporting local communities and immersing you in diverse cultures through sightseeing and excursions.

We follow our 80/20 travel rule:

  • 20% of profits go toward community service activities that you’ll actively participate in.

  • 20% of your time is spent working on community service projects alongside locals.

  • 80% of your time is dedicated to exploring historical sites, cultural experiences, and exciting excursions.

Our Story

The inspiration behind Purpose Mission Tours was sparked over 20 years ago, when my mother, Abigail, brought a group of her friends to her homeland of Ghana. That journey left a profound impact on everyone who participated, forging lifelong memories and deep, lasting friendships. Over the years, our team has had the privilege of organizing transformative travel experiences for diverse groups from all walks of life. Our tours go beyond simply showcasing the beauty of the places you visit; they create meaningful connections and unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impression—not only on you, but also on the incredible people you meet along the way. With every journey, we strive to inspire, uplift, and bring people closer together.

Our Founder

Gail is the dynamic founder and lead travel coordinator of Purpose Mission Tours, where she expertly blends her passions for travel, food, and hospitality to create unforgettable experiences. A professionally trained chef, she honed her culinary skills at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Further elevating her expertise, Gail earned a master's degree in Food Science from Washington State University, positioning her as both a food scientist and an industry leader. With over 15 years of experience in the food and hospitality sectors, she is also the owner of Opoku Catering and Events, a thriving business she established in 2014. In addition, Gail serves as a senior food scientist, leveraging her extensive project management skills to develop innovative products for top multinational corporations. Through Purpose Mission Tours, she seamlessly integrates her love for charity, food, and travel, delivering exceptional service to her clients while making a positive impact on communities around the globe.

Our tour guides are local guides, and we support locally owned businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and tour operators whenever possible. Help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 by 2030 in community support projects. You do this by traveling!

Worry Free Booking

Low booking deposit! It cost only $450 per person to secure your spot for all our trips. We also offer payment plans and flexible payment arrangements through our payment app.

Travel Concierge

The difference between a travel concierge versus a traditional travel agent is that we don’t only book travel for you at competitive prices but we curate your group travel needs every step of the way. Our travel concierge team will be on site with your group during the duration of the tour.
